Coach Tim Russell To Remain With Pine Tree

Harmony ISD's search for a new head football will continue.

Monday night, the Harmony school board was expected to hear the recommendation of Pine Tree's coach and athletic director Tim Russell for the job. However, Coach Russell withdrew his name.

The coach told KLTV it never came to a vote. He withdrew his name before the start of the school board meeting.

Russell said he did not want to leave Pine Tree and he is excited about another season with Pirate football.
