Teenager Flips ATV

A teenager is sent to the hospital after flipping her ATV. It happened around 11:30 a.m. on County Road 420, right off Highway 110 in Smith County. Officials from the Lindale Volunteer Fire Department say a 16-year-old girl was driving too fast, when she lost control of her ATV and flipped it. The girl was wearing a helmet, but she complained of neck and back pains. The girl was then care flighted to ETMC. The fire department wants to remind people to be careful when driving ATVs because they do flip easily. Earlier this week in Upshur County, a man died when he lost control of his ATV and hit a tree.
