Brownsboro Girls Come Up Short Of Goal, Lose In State Semi's

The Brownsboro girls today lost 60-48 to China Spring in the 3A state semifinals.  The Bearettes were making their 6th trip to the state tournament, and were hoping for their first berth in the state championship game.  But the Lady Cougars were too tough.  Everytime the Bearettes would make a run, China Spring answered.  Loren Brittany Brown had a huge game for the Bearettes, scoring a game high 22 points on 7 of 9 shooting from the field and 8 of 10 from the free throw line.  But Brown was the only Brownsboro player to score in double digits.  They finish the season with a 34-4 record.
