FEMA Is Back In Tyler

FEMA is back in Tyler to assist hurricane evacuees. Right now, FEMA says they've given vouchers to 112 evacuees permanently living in East Texas. Evacuees can meet one on one with FEMA representatives to check the status of their cases.

"You still have time to get yourself registered and that's very very important," said Charles Powell, Public Information Officer for FEMA. "Also, if you've not done anything beyond calling the 1-800 number, you really need to come in and talk to us because it takes more than just that." FEMA is back tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Heritage Building. That's located at 1900 Bellwood Road in Tyler.
