Martin's Mill, Brownsboro Girls Head To Finals, Semifinals

The area high school basketball playoffs continued Saturday afternoon and for several East Texas girls teams a win Saturday meant a spot in the championships.
Those teams included the top ranked Martin's Mill Girls and the Brownsboro Bearettes.

Brownsboro playing Liberty-Eylau in Commerce, in the 3A Region III finals. Brownsboro won 62-46. They will advance to the state semi-finals to play China Spring. The game is Thursday, March 2, at 3:30 p.m.

Martin's Mill playing Claude in the 1A semifinal. Martin's Mill continues to roll, they win 44-32. The Lady Mustangs are going to the 1A Division 1 state championship game.
They will play Elkhart Slocum.  The game is scheduled for Friday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.
