Thousands packed the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler today in hopes of getting that great deal. The Junior League of Tyler held a rummage sale filled with clothing, electronics, books, shoes and even furniture. Before the doors opened this morning, members say the line wrapped around the building.
Shots Across Texas was also there giving free immunizations. "The proceeds from this garage sale go back into the community through all of the events the Junior League partners with," said Spring Sweep chairman Stacey Gregory. "We partner with so many agencies from the old to the young."
The Junior League of Tyler holds their spring sweep every two years. This is their ninth rummage sale.
