Jury selection resumes this morning in the trial of al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui.A federal judge near Washington is seeking to qualify a panel of 85 prospective jurors by the end of the week. She approved 32 people last week. The large pool is needed because prosecutors and defense lawyers will each be permitted to remove up to 30 people without explaining why. It eventually will be cut down to a panel of 12, with six alternates. Moussaoui denies any involvement in the Nine-Eleven attacks. He says he was training to fly a plane into the White House as part of a possible future attack. The jury will decide whether he is executed or is imprisoned for life.
