9/11 Cycling Tour

A Kentucky man is traveling thousands of miles to help police and fire departments across the country. Today, Don Boehly stopped at the Jacksonville Fire Department. So far, he's seen 32 states, and ridden 15,811 miles on his bike as part of the 9/11 Tour of Cycling. The group is raising money to benefit firefighters, law enforcement and military officers. The tour will end at Ground Zero in Manhattan on September 11th of this year.

"The attention span was great in the first two months after 9/11, but it dropped dramatically. And then the awareness for the general public, to be aware of the work these men and women go through everyday, being policemen, firemen or our troops," Boehly said.
