Man Shot In Longview Robbery

A Longview man narrowly escaped death last night in a robbery and shooting. Police say the victim pulled over in a parking lot on "Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard" because he thought he knew the people who were flagging him over. Instead, police say the robbers pointed a gun at the man's forehead until he gave them all his money. When the victim pushed the gun away from his head, the gunman fired, hitting his leg.

The victim managed to get away in his car and drove himself to the hospital. The 2 robbers are still on the loose. Police say they were driving a 4- door buick sedan. If you have any information, you're asked to call Longview Police.
