Several East Texas Counties Say No To Grilling

With the holiday weekend coming up, many of you may be thinking of firing up your grills, but because of the burn bans many counties are not allowing any outdoor grilling.

Those counties that ban all outdoor grilling are Van Zandt, Henderson, Rusk, and Wood counties.

Smith and Gregg counties will allow you to cook food on a gas grill, but no charcoal or wood grills should be used outdoors, and Cherokee County says you can grill as long as you have a cover for your grill and are watching it at all times.

If you start a fire, you will be fined up to $500.00.
