Friends Of Children Killed In Fire Remember Through Cards, Letters

All four of the children killed in the fire in Harrison County Monday night attended school just up the road in Ore City.  Amid the pain, students are remembering the good times.

All day, kids were writing notes and letters to their friends, placing them on "Destiny's Wall."

Destiny Graham was 11-years-old, and the oldest of the three children who attended the elementary school. Cousin Da'Marcus King is remembered by teachers to have excelled in his classes, and Nathaniel Brown started Pre-K at Ore City just Monday.

"Children are not sure why does this happen to other children. And as an adult, I want to know. Why does this happen? They want to know the particulars of what happened. We're very close to each other," said Ore City Elementary Principal Lisa Mullins.

Additional counselors were at the elementary and the middle school campuses.

12- year-old TeShareme Davison was a vollyball player for Ore City Middle School.
