Cowboys Playoff Scenarios

It can't be stressed enough. If the Dallas Cowboys are to have even the slightest chance of making the NFL playoffs, they MUST BEAT THE ST. LOUIS RAMS! That shouldn't be a problem. After all, the Cowboys are 5-2 at home this season. The Rams are 2-5 on the road and are riding a four game losing streak. The New York Giants beat the Oakland Raiders 30-21 Saturday night to win the NFC East Title.  That win also killed one of the Cowboys playoff scenarios.  As it stands now, two simple opportunities remain.

1. If the Washington Redskins lose to or tie the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys are in. The Redskins play at Philadelphia Sunday at 3:15pm.

2. If the Carolina Panthers lose to the Atlanta Falcons, the Cowboys are in. The Panthers play at Atlanta, where they are 1-9 all-time. That game is Sunday at noon.
