Tyler Police Seize 105 Pounds Of Marijuana

Tyler police seized 105 pounds of marijuana. They, along working with the local branch of the DEA, arrested 40-year-old Isauro Botello and 38-year-old Jorge Garcia Tuesday after reportedly watching the men load the drugs into their vehicle. Tyler narcotics investigators followed those boxes as they were shipped from the South Texas Valley, to a Tyler restaurant Taqueria La Corona on East Front Street.
Investigators say they saw the men enter the restaurant, and pick up the shipment from a storage shed behind the restaurant. They say the boxes contained almost $53,000.00 worth of marijuana. Police say they are still investigating the involvement of the restaurant. The men were charged with possession of marijuana, a 2nd degree felony.
