Tyler Police, D-P-S, and the Smith County Sheriff's Office were called out last night to stop a man driving a stolen car.
It began yesterday when an S-U-V was stolen in Palestine.
Later, the accused car thief was in the Gallion area of Smith County near North Tyler, where he crashed the stolen S-U-V.
A good samaritan then stopped in an effort to help, and the suspect stole his car.
