Jury selection for one of America's Most Wanted is set to begin in Gilmer tomorrow. William Floyd Lane is facing an aggravated assault charge. Lane had served 11 years in prison for his part in being a pilot for a Puerto Rican gang of drug runners in the early 90s. He escaped from a Puerto Rican jail and was featured on the Most Wanted List.
While living with a family in Ore city, he was accused of molesting an eight-year-old girl, and disappeared from authorities. Lane remains in the Upshur county jail on $1-million bond.
