CASA Board Confirms Reggi Durch's Termination

The termination of the Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates has been upheld.   Some CASA board members had questioned the termination of Reggi Durch, and Thursday, the board of directors held an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.

After a lengthy two and a half hour meeting, Chairman, John Carr read a statement on the decision, from the board. Carr said, "The full board has decided to confirm the termination of Reggi Durch from the position of executive director and we wish her well, also Pam McGee has been named interim executive director. Pam McGee was originally named the executive director, but the board decided it would be better to open up an interview process for that position.

Meanwhile, a KLTV 7 investigation found that Reggi Durch had some personal financial problems during her tenure at CASA. One civil suit and two criminal misdemeanors. When we asked the CASA's chairman about that, he said, that had nothing whatsoever to do with the termination... It was strictly a personnel issue.
