Mystery Shoppers

If you would like to add a little cash to your bank account for the holidays, how about shopping. That's right, get paid to shop.

Some businesses actually pay people to shop and report on their experience.  The so-called Mystery Shoppers can make several hundred dollars a month by shopping.

Some retailers, restaurants, banks and grocery stores participate in the program.

Cathy Stucker says, "The idea of mystery shopping is to give feedback on how they are seen by their customers that way they can be more competitive, attract more customers and keep the customers they've got."  Cathy has been a mystery shopper for more than 10 years. She has wrote a book titled "The Mystery Shoppers Manual".  Cathy says to apply to lots of different businesses. However, legitimate mystery shopper jobs will not charge to apply or register.
