Jimmy Brown of Arp knows he's lucky to still be alive after facing death time and time again in Vietnam. Brown has recorded his amazing experiences in the book "Pappy's Raiders". Because at age 35, Brown was the oldest of his reconnaisance squad when he arrived in Vietnam in 1970, he was called "Pappy". "Pappy's Raiders" became the groups' code name. Brown was wounded eight times during his three and a half years in Vietnam. After nineteen years, Brown retired from the Army but only recently wrote the book "Pappy's Raiders" about his experiences. Brown will be signing copies of his book at Walden's Books in the Longview Mall, Saturday, October 29th from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
