Roses and extravagant gowns decorated Tyler's Rose Garden on Friday. One of the Rose Festival's main attractions, the Queen's Tea, drew hundreds of visitors to the event. Visitors and Tyler residents had the chance to meet Rose Queen Katherine Clair Noel King and were also treated to tea and refreshments.
Linda Weatherley, Tyler Resident; says, "The amount of roses is just stunning and beautiful."
The Rose Festival parade will be Saturday morning from 9:30 am -Noon. The parade will begin at the intersection of Glenwood and Front streets and end at "Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.
