Mock Protest Part Of A Larger Church Project

People driving through the square in Tyler today probably noticed a protest outside the Smith County Courthouse. It was actually a group of actors from The Rose Heights Church of God. They are making a short film called The Chair.  It's a modern day depiction of the life and death of Jesus.

"It kind of makes you think, 'Okay, now I understand what really happened,' and it puts you in the position of people in Jesus' day," said Mike Eminger, the co-director of the film.

The Chair is playing at the Rose Heights Church of God October 26-29 at 7 p.m., and on the 30th at 10:30 a.m.
