Make A Wish Foundation Grants Three Wishes

Children throughout East Texas are diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions every day. The Make a Wish Foundation is there to help the children forget about being sick by granting them their wish. Jessica, Doris and Clara had their wishes come true this summer. Today they shared their stories at a tea party thrown by the Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery. Jessica wished for a trip to London. Doris wished for a laptop computer and Clara wished to have a princess bedroom.

"There's nothing more wonderful than making the dreams of a sick child come true," said Jo Anne McMeans, the event coordinator for the gallery. Eighty percent of the wish children become survivors and I would like to think those wonderful endorfines that God gave us make a difference and help a child to be well." The Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery is raffling a painting called "London" until December 3rd. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to grant another child's wish.
