Tyler Chamber Honors Individuals, Businesses

The Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce capped off another productive year tonight, by honoring businesses and individuals proudly serving Tyler. Hundreds of chamber members turned out to recognize this year's award winners. Andy Bergfeld was recognized with the W.C. Windsor Award for young leadership in the community.

And this year's T.B. Butler Award for outstanding leadership and service went to unlikely partners, Rabbi Neal Katz and Anwar Khalifa. Together they tore down the walls that have separated the Jewish and Muslim cultures for centuries, and built one of their own, teaming up to construct a house for Habitat for Humanity.

Travel masters was named small business of the year. And the large business of the year is KLTV 7.

KLTV 7 General Manager, Brad Streit accepted the award.
