Tyler Day Nursery Celebrates Birthday

Sixty-nine years of service, deserves a big party. The Tyler Day Nursery celebrated sixty-nine years of caring, loving and educating community children. The nursery provides care for children whose parents would be unable to work without their help. "From the time it opened its doors in 1936, we have probably cared for over 20-thousand children and allowed their parents to go to work," says past board president, Rita Roosth.

State Senator, Kevin Eltife was on hand to help celebrate the milestone. And Tyler Mayor Joey Seeber proclaimed it Tyler Day Nursery day in the city.
