Tyler Ford to host repair event in response to F150 safety recall

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Press release from Tyler Ford:

Ford has issued a safety recall for the 2015 - 2018 regular cab or super crew F150 trucks. In response, on Saturday, September 22nd, Tyler Ford will open their service department and complete as many repairs as they can in one day. Any regular cab or super crew F150 owner is welcome, regardless of if they are a Tyler Ford customer. Because Tyler Ford will be doing so many repairs, appointments are necessary and spots are expected to fill up quickly. The service department at Tyler Ford will take phone calls to schedule these appointments through September 22nd. Not only is Tyler Ford providing repairs, they are also offering free food for the customers from local food trucks like Say Cheese, BT's Rollin' Smoke BBQ, Lupita's Restaurant and Wienerland while customers are waiting.

"The recall notifications haven't even been sent by Ford at this time, but we wanted to get ahead of the game for our customer's convenience," David Irwin, owner of Tyler Ford, explains. "We understand that these recalls are inconvenient – especially for those working weekdays. So we decided to try and make the process as quick and convenient as we could by opening on a weekend and providing food."

For those who can't make it Saturday, September 22nd, the service department at Tyler Ford will schedule an appointment for another time. This event is exclusively for the designated trucks and all repairs will be provided at no cost to customers. Call the service department at (888) 475-5841 or (903) 597 - 9331 to schedule your repair appointment.
