UPDATE: According to the Waskom Fire Department, Kelly B. Sullivan has been found alive. He was transported to a hospital to be checked out.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office says search and rescue efforts from multiple agencies within Harrison County as well as numerous others will resume this morning as soon as responders coordinate together and are ready to begin another days efforts, in hopes that Sullivan is found safe and can be returned back home to his family.
A silver alert has been issued for 71-year old Kelly B. Sullivan.
According to a Facebook post from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, Waskom Fire is assisting in the search for Kelly B. Sullivan.
Other search and rescue support are helping in the search as well.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a missing elderly man.
According to a Facebook post, Kelly B. Sullivan went missing from his home in the 13000 block of FM 9 North in Karnack sometime in the early morning hours of September 8.
The Sheriff's Office says Sullivan is described as a black male, approximately 5 foot 4 inches tall, and weighs around 145 pounds. He is said to have a mixture of white, black, and gray hair.
They said that Sullivan has Alzheimer's and dementia and was last seen at the end of FM 9.
