President Bush Returns To Gulf Coast Today

President Bush is becoming a frequent visitor to the hurricane zone along the Gulf Coast. He's returning to the area today for an aerial tour of the Texas-Louisiana border region walloped by Hurricane Rita's gales and storm surge.

Aerial photographs showed the storm reduced rows of homes along the Cameron Parish shoreline to nothing but splintered remains and empty foundations.

President Bush also plans to meet with storm victims and thank those who are helping out. His seventh trip to the region since Hurricane Katrina comes a day after he urged Americans to postpone unnecessary travel to conserve fuel.
