MARION COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Marion County Rescue Dive Recovery Team has helped pull another car out of the water.
According to a dive team member, 911 were notified of a vehicle in the Big Cypress Bayou near downtown Jefferson. A woman who was driving the car had called 911 when her car ended up the water at the public boat ramp. Divers got a wrecker cable attached to the vehicle and crews got it out in about a half hour.
They say it happens in the area more often than you would think, about 15 times a year. No one was injured during the incident and the cause is under investigation.
