The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a possible suspect in multiple vehicle burglaries.

According to the sheriff's office, the burglaries occurred in the areas of Liberty Church Road and Underwood Road in the southwestern part of the county. The office also released photos taken from surveillance videos from residences in the area. The sheriff's office reported he has taken a pistol from one of the vehicles. In one of the security videos, he was seen "pulling door handles" to see if the vehicles were locked.

The office believes the suspect recorded in recent videos is possibly the same suspect that has been seen in other security videos over the past two weeks. According to the HCSO, the suspect "appears to be a black male in his early 20's with short dreadlocks."

The sheriff's office asks anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to call Harrison County Investigations or Harrison County Crimestoppers at 903-935-9969. Information can be left anonymously.
