One suspect in custody in Jacksonville convenience store robberies, one still at large

JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - One of two suspects Jacksonville police were looking for in connection to some convenience store robberies has been apprehended.

Torrian Stubblefield, 18, is in police custody, according to Police Chief Andrew Hawkes. 

Justin Allen Jones, 25, is still at  large.

Police believe the two men are connected to the armed robberies of Max's Gas Station, located on 613 East Rusk Street and Champ's Gas Station, located at 329 North Bolton Street. Both stores were robbed at gunpoint the night of June 16, 2018.

Police also reported they have a juvenile suspect in custody in connection to the robberies.

Both Jones and Stubblefield are wanted on additional outstanding warrants out of Cherokee County Sheriff's Office for unrelated charges.

According to Jacksonville police, both suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call local enforcement immediately or contact the Cherokee County Crime Stoppers at 903-586-7867.
