TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A chemical spill in a North Texas has caused a delay in mail headed to East Texas.
According to the postmaster in Tyler, a mercury spill in the Coppell mail distribution center has caused a Hazmat situation there. Cleanup has been going on for two days, and is not yet finished.
The postmaster said that the incident is mostly affecting letters and magazines. Parcels are still "rolling out," he said.
