SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The westbound lanes of Interstate 20 at FM 2015 are now open again in the wake of a rollover wreck involving a tanker truck.

Earlier Monday, westbound traffic on I-20 was blocked after an 18-wheeler overturned, according to a Facebook post from the Red Springs Fire Department.

The driver of the tanker truck was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

In the post, they said the tanker is leaking cargo onto the highway.

However, Lone Star Hazmat is at the scene removing the oil from the truck, but authorities say it shouldn't hamper any traffic.

Authorities at the scene said the oil is not flammable and there is no danger to other drivers passing by on I-20.

They ask that you use caution if you are in the area.
