Woman indicted for allegedly trying to kidnap toddler

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A woman was indicted after she allegedly tried to kidnap a toddler at a Longview train station.

Angela Faith Alldredge, 40, of Longview was indicted on the charge of attempted kidnapping by a Gregg County Grand Jury. 

According to the Longview police, Alldredge attempted to take a 2-year-old child at the Longview Amtrak station located in the 900 block of Pacific Avenue.

The incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. June 6, 2018. According to police, officers were dispatched to a fight in progress and it was reported that two women were fighting over a child. 

Alldredge was arrested and booked into the Gregg County jail. Her bond is set at $50,000.
