ARP, TX (KLTV) - A boil water notice has been issued for the City of Arp.
According to a press release sent out by the city, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Arp to notify all residents to boil their water due to a main water line being hit by a contractor.
The press release said to ensure that all harmful bacteria is destroyed, the water should be brought to a rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
Once the boil order has been lifted, the public water system will send a notice letting people know the water is safe again.
