Governor Praises Texans In Pittsburg Visit

Governor Rick Perry is Praising "all" Texans for their efforts in the wake of the the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

Governor Perry was on hand in Pittsburg today during a ribbon cutting ceremony when he addressed a crowd telling them that texans have answered the call to help, in big way.

"I've never been prouded in my life to be a texan as in the last 3 weeks as I have seen you open up your hearts..."

Perry said federal money is being allocated to build and provide housing for evacuees in Texas.
