Freedom Fighters: The Granberry Family

Members of the Granberry famuily have fought in every war of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. They say it's a family trait to step up to the plate and be accountable. George Granberry was the first of five brothers to serve their country during wartime. He died fighting the Japanese in World War One. George's brother Henry fought in both Korea an Vietnam and brothers Carl and Glenn both were pilots in Vietnam. Fifth brother Doug served in the Navy during both wars. Devotion to duty has carried into the second generation of the Granberry family. Carl's son-in-law Brad Keiser spent twenty years in thr Army and now works for Homeland Security. Carl's son Martin fought in Desert Storm and leaves soon for Iraq where he'll continue to serve his country. Carl says "there are those who do and those who watch and Martin is a doer". A doer, just like the rest of the Granberry family.
