Teachers Investigated For "Inappropriate Conduct" With Students

Three Brownsboro High School teachers have been suspended while the school investigates allegations of inappropriate conduct. Brownsboro ISD Superintendent Elton Caldwell says their suspensions are with pay. He would not specify the nature of the allegations, only that they were accused by students and parents. The school district says for now, it is handling the investigation. The Brownsboro Police Department has not stepped in.
"That's a possibility at some point but it's not at this point. We're in the process of investigating this as a disciplinary matter," says Superintendent Elton Caldwell. "I'm shocked. I'm shocked, I really am. You don't know what to believe anymore, I don't know if it's true," says Debbie Stewart whose child attends Brownsboro High School. "If this is what is going on in our school, it needs to be stopped and it needs to be stopped immediately," says Kelly Hobbs whose child also attends Brownsboro High School. The teachers are said to be veterans in the school system. No word on if the alleged incidents happened on or off school grounds.
