Severe storms cause downed trees across ETX

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Severe weather led to downed trees and power outages across East Texas towns Friday afternoon.

In Wood County, the sheriff's office confirmed downed trees at County Road 1807 and County Road 1858.

Earlier in the evening, the National Weather Service issued severe storm warnings for Henderson, Smith, Franklin, Camp and Wood counties. Those warnings have since expired.

Hail and lighting were expected with the storms.

In Smith County, a house in the 21000 block of Syrah Drive in Bullard began to smolder after it was struck by lightning.

Several power outages were also reported across the area. Check below to see an outage map for your area.
