TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A Tyler man who allegedly spit on and kicked officers is now facing charges.

Ronnie Demon Sueing Jr., 20, is charged with resisting arrest, search or transport; assaulting a peace officer or judge; obstruction or retaliation; and public intoxication.

Sueing was taken into custody on July 4 when Tyler Police Department officers were called to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of northwest Loop 323.

According to Public Information Officer Don Martin, Sueing allegedly got into a fight with his girlfriend's family. Officers determined Sueing was intoxicated and attempted to apprehend him.

Sueing allegedly resisted arrest after he was handcuffed, fighting with officers, kicking them and spitting blood at them.

EMS was called to the scene to examine Sueing, who was later booked into the Smith County Jail.

His bond has been set at $255,500.
