Marshall Police: Suspect shot man during dispute

MARSHALL, TX (KLTV) - The Marshall Police Department arrested a man accused of shooting another man during an argument over the weekend.

Quaylon Rashard Dixon, 25, of Marshall was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after he allegedly shot another man during a dispute last Friday.

On June 29, at about 9:20 p.m., Marshal police officers responded to reports that a person had been shot in the 1600 block of Carters Ferry Road. Marshall police said that later a man arrived at the emergency room at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall, suffering from multiple non-life threatening gun shot wounds.

According to the Marshall police, detectives determined that Dixon allegedly shot the victim during a dispute.

Dixon was transported to the Harrison County Jail.
