GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A man accused of being a part of a string of Longview robberies entered a guilty plea to aggravated robbery charges.
According to the Gregg County Criminal District Attorney's Office, Dontravius Lister pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated robbery and the charge of engaging in organized criminal activity to commit aggravated robbery in the 124th District Court. He also waived all rights of appeal.
The district attorney's office said Lister was reportedly involved in a string of robberies that occurred in May and June 2017.
During one of the robberies, Lister and other suspects supposedly robbed a man at gunpoint, made him strip naked and eat grass.
In another incident, according to the district attorney's office, Lister and another suspect attempted robbed a victim at gunpoint at the trunk of his vehicle. The victim was able to get away and later identified Lister.
Lister was sentenced to 30 years confinement for the charges. He would need to serve at least half of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
