HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A drug dealer was arrested after a short pursuit in Henderson County Monday.
Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said Blake Joiner, 28, of Frankston was driving in Henderson County Monday evening when he was spotted by a deputy.
Joiner was wanted for felony bail jumping, according to Hillhouse.
Hillhouse said while Joiner was fleeing authorities in his vehicle he threw a baggie out of the window. The baggie was recovered by deputies and found to contain methamphetamine and several plastic baggies used to distribute meth.
The vehicle chase lasted several minutes before Joiner bailed from the vehicle and took off on foot, according to Hillhouse.
Joiner was eventually apprehended and taken to the Henderson County Jail on a felony bail jumping warrant.
Hillhouse said investigators will be seeking arrest warrants for the additional charges for evading arrest in a motor vehicle, tampering with physical evidence and manufacturing of delivery of a controlled substance.
