Anna Nimz coached her Kilgore College Lady Rangers to back to back 21 win seasons, and came close to reaching the national tournament. Her drive and desire has come in handy as she was named associate head coach at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg. A big plus on the move is she'll be reunited with Lord Lane whom she coached under at Pittsburg St in Kansas, and he coached her as a high school all star. Nimz says getting the experience she received at Kilgore has boosted her coaching confidence and made her more aware of her coaching abilities. The fact that he's bound for a Division 1 school, means she's already in position to develop a recruiting pipeline from Kilgore and east Texas.
