JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - It's the 34th Annual Tomato Fest!
The festival runs from June 2 to the 10, 2018.
Here is the schedule of events & locations
Tomatoes can be found at the Farmer's Market which will be located in the west parking lot of the Norman Activity Center located 526 E. Commerce in Jacksonville. Fried green tomatoes will be for sale, with more than 200 vendors scheduled to be setup in the downtown area.

Saturday, June 9th (open 9 am – 4 pm downtown on Commerce Street)
7 – 9 am Vendors set up
8:45 am – Welcome – Mayor, Britian & Robin (main stage under the overpass)
11 am Celebrity Eating Contest (main stage under the overpass) – photo 11:05 am
12 noon Awards Best Home Grown Tomato Contest (main stage under the overpass)
12:30 pm Winner/photo Tomato Peeling Contest (main stage under the overpass)
1 pm Awards Salsa Contest (main stage under the overpass)
1:15 pm Awards Tomato Eating Contest – kids division (main stage under the overpass)
1:30 pm Awards Tomato Packing Contest (main stage under the overpass)
2 pm Awards Car Show – Commerce & Austin Street (Norman Center sidewalk – look for Carressa Simmons – event director)
3:45 pm Awards – Got Talent Contest (main stage under the overpass)
Saturday, June 9th tournament times/locations:
Jacksonville Soccer Association – Cook Field at Jacksonville High School starts at 8 am
Jacksonville Tennis Tournament, Jacksonville High School Tennis Courts starts at 8 am
2nd Annual Dirty Diamonds Softball Tournament, Jacksonville Baseball Complex, 1923 Byrd Road, 9 am - until games completed
Saturday, June 9th, 7 – 10 pm is Chili's Street Dance featuring The Brian Chance Band & Lady Chazz & the Tramps
Sunday, June 10th, 2 pm, is the Ski Show it can be seen at the Lake Jacksonville Concession area on Byrd Road
