SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Law enforcement officials responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash in Smith County Tuesday morning.

About 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash. Officials say the wreck occurred on Toll 49, just south of Highway 31 West.

Two teenagers were involved in the crash. Dani Bucher and a friend were traveling southbound on Toll 49 when they hydroplaned.

Bucher says she was unable to regain control of the wheel, causing them to drift into the northbound lane and roll over into the ditch.

She tells KLTV that she prays every time she gets in the car and believes that's the reason they are still alive.

"It was a God-sent miracle that no body else was involved in the accident, that it was just me," Dani Bucher said. "I feel that God really had his hands on this because if it wouldn't have been for him, then we wouldn't really be standing here with no scratches, no cuts, no bruises, anything."

Both Bucher and the passenger walked away with no injuries.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
