The shelter at Green Acres Baptist Church lost an evacuee Saturday night. The American Red Cross says a 13-year-old boy died unexpectedly around 9:30 p.m. The health department at the shelter noticed the boy having symptoms around 7:00 and immediately brought him to ETMC Hospital. Doctors say they do not know the cause of death, but have ruled out infectious disease. The Red Cross says no one else at the shelter is showing similar symptoms. It also says the boy's family is receiving emotional support at the shelter.
