EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - A stationary front is expected to trigger showers today. Precipitation is anticipated mainly for portions of the area south of I-30 during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Highs will be in the upper 80s today. Rain will diminish as we lose daytime heating after sunset.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed East Texas under a Marginal Risk for storms. Scattered severe thunderstorms with hail and damaging winds are possible today.
A few showers are expected tomorrow, but Wednesday will mainly feature a mix of sun and clouds. Sunshine and clouds will continue for the rest of the week.
Highs will return back to the low to mid 90s.
