Meth Bust In Longview Traffic Stop

Two Louisiana men are arrested in Gregg County after officers find meth in their vehicles during a traffic stop. Yesterday, sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on I-20 near Highway 42. The driver 28-year-old, Billy Wayne Knight, and passenger 37-year-old Thomas Longworth are both from Colfax, Louisiana. Officials found 55 grams of suspected meth amphetamine, worth a street value of $7,000 dollars.

Knight and Longworth were arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance. The men remain in the Gregg County Jail on bonds of $25,000 each.
