Longview Home Houses Numerous Evacuees

A Longview woman opens up her home to family members and several other victims of hurricane Katrina. Lima Copeland has taken in 31 people at her two-bedroom home. They're all connected to the Mendoza family, many of them from New Orleans. Nine children are among the evacuees staying at the home.

Copeland says taking in the group was something she felt she had to do. Many of those staying with Copeland are looking for jobs and homes while they stay with her.
