Hurricane evacuees who need to visit a primary care doctor for immediate healthcare needs can visit select ETMC First Physicians without concern for ability to pay. This policy will remain in effect through Sept. 16.

Please call 903-596-ETMC (3862) to schedule an appointment. A representative will be able to provide directions to the participating clinic closest to you.

The clinics seeing family members are:

Fifth Street Clinic (Tyler)

8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
(closed noon to 1 p.m.)

Chandler

9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday
(closed 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

Whitehouse

8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Trinity Mother Frances Health System is asking anyone who needs medical care from the effects of Hurricane Katrina to call TeleCare Plus at 1-800-535-9799. They will be directed to the nearest Trinity Mother Frances facility that can see them in a timely manner.

In addition, a number of local pharmacies are accepting Red Cross vouchers. These pharmacies include:
