(KLTV) -

Smith County crews responded Thursday night to a possible explosion at Tyler Welders Supply on Highway 271 in Tyler.

The call was first reported to 911 dispatchers around 8:45 pm Thursday. Red Springs and Winona fire departments headed to the scene to investigate, but found nothing burning. They are in the process of trying to reach the owner of the building.

Several KLTV viewers have reported hearing an explosion in that area. One family who lives near the welder's supply building said that they saw a cloud of white smoke or vapor following the sound. No word yet on what that might have been.

This is the same business that had an explosion in June of 2017.

We will have more details as they become available.
